Facebook And Google Are Kings Of Social Logins

We’ve all seen the sites out there where you can log in using one of your social media profiles. Log in with Facebook… or log in with Google. Or some other service.
Do you ever use it?

Personally, I use it from time to time, but I’m also quite conscious of what I’m doing. I don’t like logging in with Facebook much because I don’t want any of these services being able to post to my wall or access my information. Same with Google.
VisualLoop has a little infographic to show which sites are used the most to log into other sites. Note, VisualLoop got it from Statista.

This isn’t much of a surprise, really. There are simply a TON of people out there who are essentially logged into Facebook and Google all the time. If you don’t actually click “log out” on those sites, then you’re cookied as active as you surf the rest of the Internet.
For this reason, social logins are damn convenient. Less things to remember.
Always keep an eye on what you’re allowing them to do, though. You don’t want to have private transactions posted to your Facebook wall. :)
